+ This machine is certainly very quiet in operation, being almost silent on the wash - the only noisy bits being the water fill and spin (a 1600 spin is a revelation!). I would have liked a prewash option, but I have managed very well without it. It has a good selection of programmes and temperature options from 90 degrees C to Cold. I found it easy to use and even my four year old could understand it! I have a few comments on the negative side, but I would buy it again on balance for features vs cost. All in all a very good buy.

- Although there are at least two drying temperatures it seems like there is only one in practice - very hot. I found that the synthetic drying option (although I used it cautiously) left the washing very creased and needing far more work with the iron than if I had let it air dry and I would not like to risk anything other than cottons in the dryer. Another annoying thing is that the countdown clock makes the final minute of the cotton cycle last about 15 minutes. It does take a long time to dry next to a tumble dryer, but that seems to be par for the course with any washer dryer I have come across.

- not to impressed with the drying cycles, seem to take very long and do not end up drying your clothes very well. I have reverted back to our separate dryer, but will maybe give it another go when I have time.

If you have the space, I would recommend buying a separate washing machine and tumble dryer.

- fast spin makes clothes very creased, so non iron shirts require ironing which was not the case with our old machine.

+ Is scarily silent, only a bit of noise when it spins, and sure on a concrete floor would be even quieter!, it seems to wash better as wel!

- No quick wash, shortest cycle is an hour, and the lowest temp is 30, but both very minor and its so much better than my old machine which I hated!
