Good points:: It dries our clothes!
Bad points:: The sensor drying doesn't completely dry clothes and you end up having to use the normal drying time to get them fully dry.

Good points:: One of the more basic models, but it has all the features I need. I usually just set it to the minute timer and take out thinner cottons etc as they dry.
Bad points:: I like to use the alarm so I know when the cycle has finished, but don't like the fact that it is a continual buzz. The intermittent buzz that my previous machine had was quite enough to let me know that it had finished but I could switch it off when convenient. With this one, it is so insistent I have to drop everything and attend to it straight away (which, I suppose is the idea...)

Good points:: All good. Not as noisy as my previous dryer so can't see why anyone would say it's noisy at all!
Very fast drying times.
Bad points:: Absolutely dreadful timer sound. Makes you think the world is ending! Don't use it, therefore sometimes forget to collect clothes and then have to use the 10 mins feature to reduce creasing.

Good points:: It looks great and dries well however there is alot of 'fluff' that is taken to the outside of the house through the air hose, and the wall of the house where the vent comes out becomes soaking wet

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
