Also the dryer takes quite a big load.

+ I am delighted with the speed and efficiency of this dryer - I previously had a condenser dryer which took ages and made the kitchen like a sauna!

- So far the only grumble I have is that I will have to pull out the dryer from under the worktop to clean the back vent of fluff every so often.

+ LOOKS NICE AND I LIKE THE DELAY FEATURE. THE ALARM TIMER IS USEFUL BECAUSE I CAN TAKE THE CLOTHES STRAIGHT OUT OF THE DRYER AND HANG THEM UP. VERY FEW ITEMS NEED IRONING.

- TAKES A WHLE TO COMPLETE THE DRYING PROCESS BUT I THINK THIS IS SIMILAR WITH ALL MACHINES.

- If cycle is stopped by opening door having to push the start button again to continue rather than simply closing the door as on other models.

+ Very easy to use. Set and forget function is excellent and means no more guessing drying times. Leaves clothes much less creased. The end-of-cycle alarm is good if you want to take your clothes straight out and this can also be switched off. Very good dryer for the price with all the features you need.

- Some thicker clothes felt slightly damp on one or two occasions, but that's all.

+ This is my second hotpoint tumble dryer in 11 years. I am optimistic this will be as good as the first one.

- regret not paying a little extra for the crease free tumble option ie keeps tumbling when finished cycle to keep clothese from sitting in the bottom of the drum

+ Used on the automatic cycles it takes less time than my old model. Saves on electricity.

+ i love it cant be without it but it has broken 3 times since i got it the heater element keeps burning out.... but that is only because i use it so much, about 8-10 loads per day one after the other......i have the insurance on it and so it has been fixed each time... so can not complain!!!!

- I find it to be a little noisy. but not as bad as some that i have used.

+ It has a really large drum, love the easy iron feature, it's really easy to use, easy to install the hose too as the instructions were really clear

It also has a facility that enables it to finish leaving the washing just right for ironing, or you can set a timer.

- The alarm is a bit loud when you set it to tell you when the drying is finished.
Fluff gets stuck between the glass and the rubber seal on the door, which looks unsightly and you can't remove it.
