Good points:: Big drum ,large door opening (best I've seen, makes a huge difference to ease of loading/unloading), easy to use, just a simple basic machine, does what it says
Bad points:: None for me but if you want features such as delay start then go for another one

Good points:: Same as the last Hotpoint Aquarius I had.
Bad points:: No mention of the site for the vent. Could not have had it installed when delivered. I had to have utility wall previous vent blocked up a new vent installed before use. Should put vent position in the bullet points at sale as this is not available to be seen, and I assumed the vent would be in the same place as my previous Hotpoint Aquarius.

Good points:: Fantastic, although only used this once clothes come out much dryer than my old 1600spin machine. Use the instructions and make sure you select the right wash and load amount to get the best out of this machine.
Bad points:: Child lock would have been nice and a push in selector to make the machine front flush :)

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
