Good points:: After searching for a reasonably priced vented tumble dryer, I was more than pleased with my purchase of this mode. My previously dryer was a Hotpoint and had been in use for over 14 years without any problems. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a basic dryer that does the job.

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
