- Hoodge capacity, very easy to get to everything, looks great, works fine.

I have been using this fridge for a couple of months now and I really like it. We bought it for our new kitchen as I have a bad back and find bending and twisting to retrieve stuff from under counter units very difficult. So all my kitchen is now drawers including the fridge. It is quite expensive for a fridge but has made a real difference and it was worth the money for me. The 900 mm wide was fine as we have a big kitchen, I wish they made a freezer to match.
It also blends in beautifully with the new kitchen as we have put integrated facias on it rather than the Hotpoint drawer fronts. This was reasonably easy to do as the instructions were good and clear.
The bottle holder and hidden cheese drawer in the ceiling of the upper drawer are great but one point is that you can knock over something that is a bit tall standing or stacked below them. It took me several weeks to remember to check the clearance. - Bad points:

- Looks great

- Having owned this product for over two years, it developed a faukt. It was freezing everything, then warmed everything up to about 10 degrees. Obviously this ruined everything contained within. I have now had four engineer visits, one to identify the problem, second to fit a new thermostat, three to identify the problem (didn't bring any parts with him, when the problem can only be the compressor now). The compressor is out of stock and they aren't sure when they will have this in stock. So far it has taken 6 weeks to try to get this fridge repaired, with no end in sight. Even though I have purchased the extended warranty, they will not replace the fridge as it is over one year old. They will not pay for the spoiled food or cover the cost of me having to go out and purchase a small fridge to keep me going. Hotpoint customer service (I say that tongue in cheek) have said I can purchase a replacement fridge from them at a significantly reduced rate (100 pounds off a replacement drawer fridge!) There is nothing else Hotpoint will do except refund me the cost of the extended warranty and cancel all further engineer visits. Not that that is any help as no other fridge would fit in the space of the drawer fridge. In all the years I have owned fridges, this is the only one that has every had a fault. My advice, forget about the style or how good it looks, BUY A DIFFERENT FRIDGE!
