- Good points:
- Replaced a 15 year old NEFF unit so is obviously streets ahead as things have moved on - but we are very pleased with it and the features it has and certainly think it is excellent value for money. It should also save us some energy costs as it is "A" rated. The wash quality is great and so far we have only had to use the quick wash setting even though we generally fill it up once or twice a day. Not everything comes out 100% dry all the time (mainly plastics) but that's what tea towles were invented for so we're not put off by that.
- Bad points:
- The installation instructions are useless, and if you are not a confident DIY-er you may need assistance with installation, although if you can get your old unit out you should be able to get this one in without too much trouble. Main issues to watch out for are that the water pipe has a large bulge at the end that contains water monitoring electronics - so any routing holes in cabinets etc may need enlarging. Pipework may also need modifying if space is tight as the end of the pipe is quite big and can't be cut and should not be bent too much. (We had to modify our undersink pipework accordingly). Fitting the door is not that easy and takes some skill to get right. The levelling mechanism works OK but needs tools (I used a socket and a spanner). I levelled ours by adjusting the back first, the the front, then the back again and so on until the unit was raised bit by bit into its final position.
