- Good design and build quality. The bucket style drawers are better than the usual flap down rigid plastic type doors which tend to break.
- Bad points:
- Although I prefer the style of drawers on this particular model they can be a little difficult to pull out.

- neat exterior, good to look at.
- Bad points:
- the two first draws are very poor in the capacity sense, the bottom draw is about as useful. We desposed of a smaller capacity freezer that in "real" terms actually held more, I wish we had worked the draw system out before purchase, fronts that drop down hold far more produce.

- Good points:
- I'd recommend the Hotpoint. Seems more solidly built than a lot of others.The handle for one is good. An expensive Whirlpool one I bought, the handle broke after six months, just wasn't well enough designed and constructed.
- Bad points:
- I bought this to replace an identical size and type Whirlpool freezer that had unbelievably broken after just 3 years (and they don't want to help you with anything that breaks down so don't buy Whirlpool!Also a matching size Whirlpool larder fridge developed huge cracks in it and they didn't want to know about that either)The only design aspect about the Whirlpool that was better than the Hotpoint was that it had clear plastic fronts to each compartment so that you could see everything without having to open every draw to see what was in there.If that was done in the Hotpoint I would have given this 10/10
