- Top oven is large but this encourages you to fill it up and then it can't cope with the amount of food. Use top oven for one tray only.

+ This is an excellent oven and good value for money. You don't have to heat it up like other gas ovens and it the fan switches off when you open the door and back on when it closes.

- I personally don't like the toasting tray in the top oven as it is much smaller than the last one I had.

- It takes a little while to warm up even though it is a fan assisted oven. The grill curves in the middle, I would have preferred the extra space that would be there if the grill was put in straight.

- The oven and grill controls are difficult to read in low light

+ Purchased to replace old cooker (At least 10 years old) . Good that it fitted perfectly into the spot. For rented accommodation and needed to be easy to use which it is.

Big oven is big enough for Sunday dinner and all of the trimmings to be put in the one place.

- doors are almost mirrored and therefore pick up lots of marks from hands etc so needs to be cleaned otherwise looks dirty. But easy to clean....
Grill pan does not sit in the oven when you are not using, as the handle is to long to be able to close the door.
Takes a while to heat up to desired temperature.

+ Seems to be robust and well put together, cleans up nicely and looks good.

- Main oven temperature seems to be lower for same settings used on previously owned unit, takes a little longer to achieve fully cooked items. Still getting used to operation of the ovens.

- Takes a little while to get used to the fact that it's very hot in the oven and the grill compared to my last oven, but that's something that will come with time.

- the timer bell is not very loud as i often do not hear it unless i am in the kitchen. the controls for the grill do not indicate when it has reached temperature unlike the bosch that does.

+ Firstly, and most importantly, the ease of use and the cooking results are a revalation! After 44 years of marriage, this is the BEST OVEN that we have ever purchased. It is very easy to operate and when using the Timer - it works out perfectly. Also, a big plus is that it is so Stylish. It looks so good! We would definitely score it 11 if we could. Thankyou Hotpoint!

+ Very easy to install. Took about ten minutes because the size was the same as the one we took out.
