+ timer and settings are easy

- the grill settings are on the oven knob which you have to turn rihgt round clockwise but want to turn it anticlockwise as thats the way it looks which if done too often could damage it either an arrow indicating the direction all the grill settings on the one knob would help

+ its really easy to use, and looks good

- The grill elements only cover the middle, for example if you are gring bacon and cover the whole grill pan only the rashers of bacon in the middle cook.

+ Its a really good exact replacement for my previous model, the brown colour is a good match to my old Hotpoint oven which was over eight years old.
It does exactly what it says it does. Its a good value - no frills oven.

- I only have one small point to make, and its probably just me getting used to the new oven!, and its that the door drops down quite quickly whereas my old oven door although it seemed heavier would open quite slowly and seemed to be a bit better sprung.

Built-in machines have a cabinet door attached to the front of them so that they look like the rest of your kitchen. Freestanding machines can be seen and the machine can be placed in any position in your kitchen.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.
Self Cleaning	Catalytic
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
