Good points:: Performs to specification.
simple to get up and running.
Bad points:: No hot water input/feed. Very wasteful of energy and time. Our combi boiler produces "instant" hot water for a third of the cost of the electric element used, this was NOT clear on information available prior to purchase.

Bad points:: gives off a pungent smell when drying
trips the main circuit breaker
not particularly good at washing - some clothes (towels) have been harsh and hard when dried!

Good points:: Looks good. Washes well and efficiently. Good range of settings. Quiet.
Bad points:: The feature allowing you to dry to stages such as "iron dry", cupboard dry" isn't very relaible - iron dry shoudl be a bit damp but is frequently bone dry. A nice idea but not particularly effective.
