We bought this tv for the kitchen - and it looks great! Having looked at other smaller screens they looked dated but this with its glass stand and chrome support works well. Picture quality is pretty good.
-
Changing channels is a little slow using the numerical buttons but is quicker if you use the up/down channel button.

Dead pixels, also have to retune TV more or less every time you switch on, in-built tuner / reception area may be at fault, lacks on screen displays, poor sound, even when adjusted to personal preferences. Fairly basic really, but ok for the bedroom

Picture quality very good, as is sound quality, design wise it's one of the better TV's I've seen. I find that LCD pictures can be a little out of focus at times, but this TV has none of those focus issues. I'm always looking at teletext and with this TV using analogue there's no waiting for the sub pages to change, the main page loads and you decided which sub page you want to read, so simple, why haven't all TV's got it. Let's hope that when we can only get digital TV the teletext is as good as the TV pictures. I bought this TV mainly for use with games consoles, my daughter seems very pleased so far.

well designed, simple to set up. light weight with an excellent picture.
-
After one days use, the epg button has gone faulty. When used it shows the programme menu for a split second, then locks the tv completely. It has to be switched off before it can be used again. Were it not for the fact that the tv is in the bedroom where my wife, who suffers from cancer spends a lot of time, I would return the set and ask for a refund. I understand that this fault is a common one with this model.

Electric Program Guide is to small to read unles you are sitting two feet away and looking square on at the screen, The ON/Off switch is hidden and tucked away at the back of the set making it difficult to switch On and Off, Atthough it boasts nicam sound the quality is very poor and tinny I have had to connect external speakers just to be able to hear it. the picture quality is also poor, I wish I was able to see and listen to the set before I bought it.

You would have no idea that there had ever been anything wrong with this TV. It came in the original box with all the original documentation and looked like it had just come straight from the manufacturer.
I bought it for my eldest son and he is over the moon, did need to get a digital amplifier aerial so he would receive all of the digital channels but more than worth it.
Picture quality is great, sound is great and he isn't trying to hog our TV downstairs anymore so that's great too!!

Screen Size in Inches

22
Screen size is measured diagonally from corner to corner.
Type of Screen

LCD
Most small flatscreen TVs have LCD screens. Some larger TVs have plasma screens. Some very new TVs have LED screens. Traditional TVs are called Standard or CRT.
HD TV

HD Ready
‘HD Ready’ is a Europe-wide standard designed to made HD technology less confusing. HD Ready TVs must have
• Minimum vertical resolution of 750 pixels (in widescreen format)
• Ability to display 720p and 1080i formats
• An HDMI or Digital Video Interface (DVI interface)
Full HD is a higher standard. Full HD TVs have screen resolutions of 1080p and can output at least 24 frames per second.
Full HD is becoming common, but you won’t see Full HD on normal TV channels for a long time, so it remains optional for many people.
Built-in Disc Player

No
Some products come with built-in DVD players or Blu Ray players.
HDMI Interface

2
Like a scart interface but capable of carrying HD signals from or to other devices. You’ll need these to link your Playstation 3 or your Blu-ray player to your HD-ready TV.
Number of Scart Interfaces

1
Scart sockets are places where you can connect other devices to your TV. If you already have a DVD player, a VCR and a Playstation you might want to make sure your new TV has enough Scart interfaces so you don’t have to keep crawling round the back of the TV.
