- SOftware takes a little while to navigate to get the scanning options right.
Lid is a little stiff.

+ It produces great scans and is so easy to use. The software that comes with it is so simple and straight forward to use. Scans often come out better than the originals.

- The size of the actual unit is a bit bulky and speed, when making higher quality scans, is slow.

- Software does not seem to function properly. Will not load at all on my PC. Loads on my wife's PC and scanner buttons seem to work but when opening up the software it just says it will not communicate with the PC

+ When it works it works well

- Scanner is huge and very slow to scan slides. It also has a tendancy to crash but you are not aware of it due to being slow in the first place.

+ Its good to see what on the negatives etc, good choices of size of frames.

- Its too slow and to fix up the photo the programm software is not very helpful.

+ It works. Bought for putting about 1,000 - 2,000 35 mm slides onto CD

- It "miss's" some slides without apparant reason.
Don't seem able to move images from one album to another (now using My Photos in XP for sorting)
