+ Pedigree company, excellent design and intuitive operation.

- Only found one thing missing, audible warning for traffic hold-ups.

+ I am extremely happy with the Nuvi 610T for many reasons. There are so many sat navs on the market and it took me some time to decide which one to purchase, but I settled on this model after extensive shopping around!
On the surface of it this sat nav looks great. It is slimline and comes with an excellent leather carry case which protects it when not in use. The screen is really large compared with other models and crystal clear, even when the sun shines on it or at night.
The car kit for the sat nav is great - excellent, sturdy cradle which can be easily mounted in your car and the lighter charger is included - this doesnt seem to be included with some other models.
Using the sat nav is easy, I didn't and haven't even had to read the instructions! The set up is easy with the software supplied and the website for downloading updates etc is first rate. When in use the device is excellent, I have found it very accurate in terms of directions, the directional voice is loud and clear. The maps are also easy to read and the little extras have been brilliant - I make special note of the travel options whereby you can click on a button to find the closest petrol stations, cash machines etc. This has been really helpful.
All in all I would highly recommend this sat nav to anyone.

- I have only two bad points to mention. Firstly, the bluetooth handsfree option on the device. Now it is brilliant whilst driving and works well, but most people calling me report a really strong echo on the line. I thought at first the phone was too close to the device but even after moving it this still persists. Secondly the device is often slow at starting up and finding satellites. But I think it would be harsh to blame this on the device itself, I think this is more likely the fault of the satellites!!!

+ straight forward menu setup, good size screen, very easy to use, very clear and precise instructions, option of shortest or fastest route, easy to set up and connect to the phone via bluetooth, lots of additional information about your journey. really very good.

+ Wide and clearscreen. Clear instructions to get started. Camera database. Easy top use. Post code accurate.

- Nothing significant. Speeed camera alerts both sides of road even if camera on other side.

+ Display is clear and accurate. Easy to use. Bluetooth is very clear.

- Traffic information not always accurate - but tell me a system that is!

+ Really easy to use, with clear instruction and screen. Also like the fact it has bluetooth function so can anwser calls ect all on the sat nav

- Sometimes it gets mobile cameras mph speeds wrong so constantly rings to warn you that you're travelling too fast when actually you're not.

+ Does exactly what it says on the box. Live traffic & re-route facility is brill.

- Gets confused when traffic problems occur, difficult to see actual traffic situation, no traffic map. occasional strange routes. Hands free not very effective..
