+ Good value for a Fujifilm and has some easy to use features.

- A very flimsy shutter looks as though it could be easily damaged. The camera has a very long delay on shutter speed which makes taking pictures extremely difficult, many are not usable. The camera is very susceptible to shake, especially when using the zoom, many pictures are far too blurred to use. Even for a point and press photographer I find it very annoying and not as classy or good looking as other fujifilms I have used. In all I would spend extra on a J50fd if buying again!

- lacks a viewfinder especially when photographing in bright sunlight the lcd reflects so that you can barely see the subject, you have to guess where the subject matter is .
apart from that the results are very good for a point and shoot.
the video is also good

There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder.
