- Good points:
- Once the continual self maintenance problem fixed itself, and the printer was re-profiled using data color spyder 3 the print quality is very good.
- Bad points:

Some of the initial ink cartridges were used up very quickly as the printer kept doing self maintenance. Local Epson agent checked the printer and could find no problem. Once the used up cartridges were replaced the problem has gone away (chip problem with original supplied cartridge ?).
The Epson profiles supplied with the printer gave poor rendering of reds, printing more like salmon pink than deep red.

- Big negative is the cost of ink and wastage of ink when changing cartridges from gloss black to matte!

- Superb quality printing the best I have had. Easy to use. Easy to profile. I wish I had bought this printer when it was first available.
- Bad points:
- Ink usage is high and therefore the cost is higher per print when buying epson cartridges. I have installed C I S S which makes it far cheaper and without the loss of quality so I have overcome the expense.

Ink costs are high but I'm using FotoSpeeds CIS with great success.
The manual is a little lacking considering the amount paid. Any faults need a lot of online searching rather than a simple hand book that could quite easily be shipped along with the printer. Over all I'm giving it a 9 rating. I've thrown a few printers out of the window in frustration but I have a feeling this one will stay where it is.
