+ The machine itself is great but the screen feels a little small compared to others although it is only 1" smaller than most others. I have only had it for 3 weeks but so far so good, no real complaints.

+ Good value basic laptop. Out of the box and up and running with internet connection in moments. Ticks all the boxes for its specification.

+ I was looking for a machine to use for my daughter for schoolwork - internet browsing - email - photography. Gaming was definately not on the menu. Having downloaded SUN's ODF software (free MS Office look alike) onto it - makes this a very competitively priced package. It's spec is perfect for the job it was intended (just wish it was a little quicker) Worked straight out of the box - seems well made - my daughter likes the curved layout of the keyboard.

- Realised after purchasing that it needs 1GB RAM just to run Vista ......and it only has 1GB RAM. Clock won't keep time !?!? Black was my daughters (and my) least favourite colour choice....it only comes in.....black.

+ a very good laptop for the money. battery not as bad as reported in fact pretty good.well made hence heavy'ish. no problems with speed yet.

+ After a lot of searching this seemed good value with 2G memory, which is needed with Vista. Bought it for my daughter and she is delighted with it. obviously not as large as some laptops but that has its advantages and the screen is very clear. Easy to setup and use, but I have had a previous laptop myself in 2001 (things have changed a bit!!). Fast delivery.

- Personally not keen on Norton Antivirus and installed alternative available from Laptops Direct which doesn't slow the machine down or seem to be so in your face. Have to pay for Office after 60 day trial expires but at least that gives you 60 days to decide.

+ I like the keyboard layout, it connected to my LAN with no fuss, and although fairly basic it has a good dvd facility, the 2 gig memory is more than I would have expected for the price.

- I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I haven't found any bad points yet.

+ This laptop was for my daughter for her school work and social networking , it does all that she needs and quite quickly too, so i'm very pleased as the price was great for this level of laptop

when the cursor stops on something when online, it automatically opens that site which is very very annoying;
wish it had regular Windows XP or 2007 and not Vista or whatever it is as it's so different and not very user friendly;
wish it had web cam;
can't find out how to listen to live radio
