Compact but effective subwoofer - I mainly listen to metal and this more than competently provides the rich sound I'm used to receiving from an amp/speaker stereo set up.
Teeny satellite speakers.
Loud - am only using my laptop on half volume and the speakers are certainly nowhere near max volume and this is absolutely sufficient for my daily "slightly louder than strictly necessary" usage.
Price - always on a skinny budget, I was worried I couldn't afford the quality and sound that I craved but these proved me wrong! - Bad points:

As mentioned, the power to woofer lead is a little short but, as this was always intended as part of a static laptop set up, this doesn't create a problem for me.
I always forget to put the speakers on standby!

- Bought for our kitchen flat screen TV. As usual the speaker /sound quality on small TV's are dire. These speakers are absolutely superb. There are no other speakers small enough to give the sound you need. The sub design sits neatly behind the TV...perfect.
