- hose not as flexible as my older model, especially when using up to the top of the stairs, and reaching into corners, the machine can bang against your legs when pulling it along.
Found it difficult to hoover inside my car, on the older model you could shorten the extention pipe that is attached to the hose.

+ It mush more easier to use than any of the other dysons i have had in the past, it is also quite flat at the front making it much better to get under the furniture with out moving it.
Is so easy to use and the tools clip on and off very easy.

- its a little heavier than i expected but not a problem.

+ Easy to turn on and to use. light weight when carrying. certainly picks up the dirt - in fact may be too aggressive as so much of the carpet seems to end up in the container.

- not so easy to move around as needs some physical force. I feel the weakest part is the clip on the emptying unit - its very fragile and difficult to locate into position. sure over time this will break. My old Dyson was bad enough but this is not an improvement.
When I sent back the guarantee I did pass comment that it seemed rather odd to have to cut off a piece to send back that was actually part of the guarantee - in fact the instructions was to send back - I could assume the whole thing - but that did not make any sense.

+ Powerful suction (our rugs have never looked so clean - as if our previous vacuum cleaner did nothing), excellent maneuverability, very simple to clean, compact and easy to store, nice design.

- Extension hose doesn't extend very far (the suction is so strong that the hose contracts) so you need to pull it with some effort.

Fiddly extension hose arrangement.
Suction so good, unfortunately it fights against you when trying to use suction hose, so for edges and corners we still use old lightweight cylinder vacuum.

+ Very impressed with the Dyson DC25 All Floors on carpets and tiled kitchen floor. Have been using it now for almost a month and can't find any faults with it. Highly recommended.

- This is my 3rd Dyson, but it just doesnt pick up as good as the others did. I find I have to go over any bits a few times. Also the accessories are not as good as previous models.

- I am not sure about the Ball, it is fiddly to get the vacuum to tip back and you seem to take more of the weight due to the ball, which defeated the point of getting a lighter vacuum.
