+ good suction, easy to use.

- a bit bulky with wrap around storage cumbersome to stay put. Also, trying to unlock filter is a bit tricky as I had to call the headquarter to find out how to use it and I know that if my husband should ever think he has to clean the filter he will end up breaking it as he always uses brut force and not knowing how he will surely bust it.

+ Always tremendous out of the box. We've returned to Dyson for a replacement machine and aren't disappointed. Visible improvement in pick up from very old machine being replaced - the benefits of the visible dirt collector!

- The only very minor niggle is that the power cable can get tangled around the floor head (if I knew the technical term...I'd use it). The new design has very ease to use levers to flick between hard floor and carpet settings but they do stick up a bit as a result.

+ Excellent Cleaner and value for money - stores neatly

- I had to get my boyfriend to show me how to get the arm fully extended - it didnt want to lock when i did it.

+ Neat and folds back together brilliantly, very clever design

- Had original dyson but feel this one doesn't bring up hair/fluff like the old one did. Still saying that it is very good!

+ Good overall like a usual Dyson

- A bit heavy to carry, and the brush head moves a little too much and is sometimes hard to control

+ Really powerful suction

- Expensive as are all Dyson products
