Its a Dyson, so performance is excellent. This is my 3rd Dyson and it gets daily use and performance never diminishes

The 'ball' design is terrible - I wish I had stuck to the standard upright. Its heavy, difficult to click down and so fragile at the front it has already bits chipped off. The wire also gets stuck in all the paraphinalia at the front.

It felt heavy at first but once you start moving it the ball takes over and it just glides. It goes RIGHT up to edge, better than any vacuum cleaner I have ever had. It is easy to empty and really picks everything up quickly. Bit funny to look at, looks like something out of a science fiction film.

More manouverable than previous Dyson we owned. The additional dust collected even after a Vax Rapide Carpet washer had been over everything was difficult to believe. It appeared a lot finer than we had experienced before. Even more than the previous dyson it reached well into skirting boards and less accessible places.
Compared to the previous Standard Dyson model it appears slightly more industrial and less stylish but the clever way everything needed stows away while still being accessible will appeal to all those who believe that style should follow function - maybe not so much stylish as very neat design!
