Good points:: I have always used a dyson. They have never broken ..I have just given them to friends or family so that I can get another one. Dyson helpline is 10/10 they are very helpful. the 5 Year guarantee is great though You rarely have to use it.

Good points:: Cleans thoroughly. Extra long hose good for cleaning stairs without having to balance the vacuum on the step. Had a mechanism to change the height of the brushes so you can vacuum carpets and hard floors

Good points:: Fantastic suction.
Easy to empty container, without the problem of dust flying everywhere.
Long reach hose.
You can put the attachments directly onto the end of the flexible hose for those difficult to reach corners.
Washable filters
Great sounding guarantee.
Bad points:: Heavy.
The hose can be awkward to use.
Small dust container (my previous vacuum was the Dyson DC01).
The control to change from brush to brushless is hard to operate.
The on/off button doesn't have a very positive feel.
Expensive (It's a Dyson)
