+ Product is excellent and is my second of this type.I particularly like the low front which goes under furniture easily and also the low weight.Because I have to be careful lifting after breast cancer treatment I find this model very good.

+ Light as a feather and good suction.

- Instructions could be better. I have not got to grips with the tools as yet.

+ Lighter than other Dyson models. Excellent cleaning - very good for cat fur. Bag is SO easy to empty.

- The attachments are fiddly and the hose not easy to handle. Found the filters a bit complicated to remove and replace at first.

- Not as powerful suction as other cleaners including Dysons I have used.

+ My second Dyson - they have the best and most consistent suction in my experience. Also great not having to worry about bags.

- Bit bulky (and this is the slimline one). Would be nice to have a choice of a more subtle colour for a change. I agree with those who say that Dyson plastic is a bit flimsy. Changing to the extending tube can be a bit fiddly. Another weak Dyson point is they sometimes cut out, but this one is good.

+ picks up much more dirt, fluff and cat hairs than other vacs, small and easy to store, no bags and no filters to change

- heavy, difficult to manoeuvre into small spaces (I live in a small house with dark corners), tools awkward to use especially the handle and some suction lost whe using tools

+ Its very light, very easy to carry up and down stairs.

- When using the tools, theres no flexibility in the hose with regarsd to going round corners, its a strange angle.
