- So you can buy a kettle for £10 these days and ~£50 seems quite a lot. However we have had a Dualit toaster for the past 25 years purchased after 4 poor quality low cost toasters. This time we are replacing a Electrolux kettle because the little plastic filter that broke after some years could not be replaced. I expect this will not be a problem with this Dualit kettle. Boil time is much faster with this kettle. Also it is much less noisy that any other kettles I have previously owned.
- Bad points:
- The price is still a bit steep, but I expect I will not need to replace this one in my lifetime.

- Lovely looking and quick boiling, the only reason I have marked it 9 and not 10 is because I pour and then immediately refill and as the handle is directly above the lid this does cause slight steam burn, only a problem if you are as impatient as I am or have alot of people for tea!!
