Dualit 2x2 Combi Reviews: 4 Slice Toaster

+ It is very basic and easy to use. It toasts everything evenly. I purchased this item through recommendation so although it is expensive to buy I am hoping (as all parts are replaceable) it will be a wise buy!

+ ITs a design icon and works like a dream...most people would say it is far too much for a toaster...but I had to have one

easy to clean out

- cant do a toastie with runny insides such as beans or ham with pineapple slice in the middle as it holds bread in a perpendicular grip but not tight enough to stop fluids escaping.

+ looks good, works well in a reassuring mechanical way

- Slots to short for "proper" bread, If you buy bread that comes in a plastic bag and is square then it's fine. Buy a loaf that you have to cut yourself and the top sticks out! I think nearly all toasters are the same

- the toasted sanswiches dont have much space to put them in the gap?

+ Good looking, clean lines. Available in a wide range of colours. Very easy to operate.

Makes evenly browned toast done just the way you like it.

My first attempt at using the sandwich maker was a complete disaster. Two slices of bread with filling wouldn't fit into the slot. This might work better if you use thinly sliced bread.

+ Appearance, simplicity of use, replacement parts

- Far more expensive than day to day toasters but purchased for longevity.

+ Makes excellent toasted sandwiches.

- Timer makes a ticking noise.

+ Simple, works well and my visually impaired daughter who also has hand tremors can safely use this and not burn herself getting out her toast. The controls are very solid and easy to grip too.
