Good points:: very realistic flame effect.

Bad points:: remote a bit less useful than the name implies which is not a problem while i'm mobile

Good points:: Super little fire. Looks great and gives a focus to the room even when just using the flame effect, which is really effective. Good heat, great that there are two different settings.
Bad points:: Fan is a bit noisy when using it as a heater.

Good points:: The overall look is very much the old fashioned iron stove. the fire effect is quite effective, especially used with the provided real coals (although adding a few more is even better). Used for its flame effect only it is the best one I have found, and I have tried many.
Bad points:: I only use the fire for its flame effect so cannot comment on the electric fire.
