Good points:: The sound production, in my opinion, is excellent - really clear and without distortion even at high volume settings. This is one of the best sound related buys I've ever engaged in.
Bad points:: Perhaps, over a period of time, the open venting on top of the unit may ingest enough dust to effect the performance of the unit. I have not chosen to keep the unit enclosed because of the danger of heat build up.

Good points:: Using with 25 watt Panasonic speakers, and the sound is much better than my bose sounddock portable, plus it charges my iphone whilst playing music from it and it has DAB, and its cheaper! Its not portable of course! but small enough to be discreet.
Bad points:: The volume knob doesn't seem to work properly, but it does have a remote

Good points:: Great sound from CDs, DAB and FM.
Excellent DAB reception with supplied aerial.
Looks good.
Compact size.
Remote control works from incredibly far away!
Bad points:: Disappointing sound from USB devices, perhaps poor quality MP3s rather than the DM38's fault.
Incomprehensible remote control, can only use basic functions without referring to the manual.
