- Good points:
- Small compact system which is easy to use and has good sound quality. Fits nicely into a bookcase.
- Bad points:
- Could do with some more input sockets at the back so that you can have multi speakers as well as a record player and CD player if you so desire.

- Good points:
- The unit has a classic quality look and feel about it.
- Bad points:
- I found the functions that the remote control carry out to be cumbersome and confusing. Finding content on the ipod (I bought the Denon dock to go with the DM37) was particularly unintuitive although the DAB radio similarly takes a lot of fiddling to find the station of choice.

- Good points:
-
Very good sound quality, but can be bass-heavy dependent on speaker location - this can be fixed by using the foam inserts. Good connectivity options (external audio, USB)
- Bad points:
-
Low quality speaker cable included but this can be replaced
Stepped volume control can sometimes be annoying - i step is too quiet and the next step is too loud.

Manufacturer's Description
Denon’s popular M series gives you high sound quality based on the “simple & straight” concept. Circuitry is uncomplicated, signal paths are short, and all adverse influences on sound quality have been minimized. The circuit design and the way the chassis is built ensure that the sound you hear is utterly faithful to the original performance.
Triadic noise reduction concept
In an audio component where various circuits, boards, and wire layouts can influence each other, it is not possible to obtain satisfying specifications or sound simply by strengthening the power amp circuit. Denon has therefore eliminated three sources of noise to ensure that the sound is as clean as possible.
Versatile connection environment for enjoying music from an iPod, USB player, and various other sources.
The D-M37DAB is equipped with a USB port on the front for easy, direct connection of a USB player. There is also a dedicated control terminal for connecting the optional Denon ASD-1R/3N/3W control dock which lets you enjoy music from your Apple iPod. You can use the remote controller that comes with the D-M37DAB to send control commands such as Play or Skip. You can also enjoy various kinds of music through the built-in AM/FM/DAB tuner.
Enjoy premium sound in your home office, bedroom, or any other room
The D-M37DAB’s compact size of 210 mm wide and 310 mm deep lets you easily set the system up on a bookshelf or in a bedroom. With both beautiful sound and appearance, this high-class audio system easily blends into your daily life.
