Dell Inspiron Mini 10v (Netbook) Reviews: Windows XP Home 10.1" Screen Laptop computer

+ It's lightweight, the keypad is lovely to the touch, and its very fast allowing me to switch from one window to another very fast indeed. It's compact and neat, I love the design and last but not least it is excellent for the price and I just love all its features.

- This may sound corney, but I honestly cannot found anything bad about the little midget I chose, yes I mean the laptop, in fact I can get over just exactly fast the it is, for sure and without a doubt it's the best thing I bought in a long long tme and lives up to everything you state that it does - once again thanks to DELL this is a very pleased customer indeed.

+ Nice Little system,I think these are ideal for the younger children as they are light and easy to handle.also was the cheapest place to buy this product

- Mouse Pad a liitle sesertive, only down side even though i have adjusted settings,will monitor this as could be faulty.

+ Bought for my daughter staring new school and the size makes it very easy to transport. Once you get used to the screen size it is great. Great graphics and the keyboard is very smooth.

+ Must admit, I'm a technophobe so my use of the computer is very basic. Therefore I may not be the best judge but for my needs its perfect, small, lightweight, prettey colour. very up to date. When on iplayer, the sound is good, some can be very quiet when on the highest setting but this has a clear loud volume. I'd reccommend this to my friends.

+ Very small and light but still has a traditional sized keyboard, which is great!! Its exactly what I was looking for as its very portable.

- Small amount of memory storage so quite slow even though I have only downloaded OpenOffice as a programme and dont store pictures. Battery runs out pretty quickly.

+ the look and size of the product is fab. its so light and looks amazing. Had so many comments about it. The programs work well.

- The battery life doesnt last long at all. I can only get about 45 mins (if that) once fully charged and im finding it difficult to hook it up to my original photosmart printer at home but that may be just me.

Has excellent features for size:- wifi, good hard drive and basic softwear.

- Problems with keyboard functions due to reduced size. (@ & " mixed) with no explaination of this in the literature.
Could have been supplied with a User Instruction CD for ease of use through another PC, as download very slow and large in terms of space.

- The screen no longer works after just a few weeks. It's not been dropped or abused, it just doesn't work anymore. Really handy now that we are living in Asia!!!

+ Liked the colour/design - no extra cost for chosing a colour other than black. The keys are larger on this than on a few of the other netbooks which makes it easier to use. Suits the purpose I bought it for which was mainly surfing the web and checking email.

- Battery life is a bit short (3 hours) compared to other netbooks.

+ very small and lightweight so easily portable. Connected to my wireless router quickly and without any problems. Gorgeous colour - looks fab.

- The screen size means you have to scroll up and down a fair bit to see websites and images but that's to be expected really.

+ The convenience of the size and weight, (and the fact there isn't a whopping great charger like with my old lap top!), cosmetically it's lovely, its performance is good, though sometimes a bit slow, having said that I think that's down to the broadband rather than the computer!!), easy to use, very impressive, love it!!!

- The only thing that restricts this netbook is the battery life, it does hold 3 hours but sometimes thats not long enough, I would recommend paying the little bit extra and getting more battery.

+ Small light and yet workable.

- scren resolution could be a bit better, tends to lag slightly on flash sites.

+ all I expected - had read reviews myself prior to ordering and was not disappointed. I shop online and keep in contact with son at uni and watch tv, ie iplayer, all the time. I didn't need/want a full size laptop and couldn't justify the expense - not missing the lack of a disc driver - as can plug in an apacer I already own if I need to. It looks good too!!!

+ Nice and compact for ease of carrying around. Good clear screen. Easy to use. Very convenient if you need
to move around alot. I have just ordered a second one in a different colour this time.

- Could do with a longer battery life. Apart from that I can find nothing else to complain about.

+ Compact and lightweight design enables you to carry it around with you and use it on the go. Battery life also enables you to do this. Much prefer this product compared to my old standard sized laptop. I have windows 7 running on it with no problems, the processor is fast which was one of the reasons why I decided to buy a new computer. Overall excellent product, I use it all the time for my university work and I am extremely satisfied. Five star!!!
