+ its quick and does what i need it to.

- battery doesnt last long at all, no office programs and only 2 weeks of mcafee antivirus. you would think that buying a new laptop it would at least come with antivirus and word.

+ Internet is quick and I have really found very little fault with it

- The curser sometimes does not work well and it is necessary to hit the curser pad a few times

+ Dell have a good reputation

- Reviewer left no comment

+ Clear screen, quick to start up and worked well out of the box.

+ I like Dell It is robust enough for home use. It has clear pictures and a large window due to its size. Good I imagine for older users. It will store plenty of photos and play back video content quickly. I feel I trust it to do whatever I need it to do and I feel it will last a long time. My daughter REALLY uses hers (MSNing etc and tons of photos)

- This is a slightly heavy laptop

+ Great design, easy to use.

- Haven't tested the battery life yet! Touch pad can be quite sensitive when you don't want it to be, however the 'scroll' part of the touchpad can be less sensitive!

+ Good visability - screen size is superior to some similar priced laptops. Built-in web cam definitely a plus. Runs on Windows Vista - don't be put off by this as it is fairly easy to adapt to the changes in accessing programmes.

- I would recommend using a wireless mouse - even though the scroll up/down and across has been modified on the mousepad it is still quicker to click with a mouse.

+ Nice easy key board to use, keys have a positive feel. Fast and responsive when turning on or connecting to the internet. Easy to carry

- Screen looses some of its` sharp colours when not connected to mains
