Daewoo FRSU20IAI Reviews: Frost Free, Freestanding, Silver fridge freezer

+ Fantastic looking fridge. I was a bit worried about the freezer capacity but it is atually huge and so muh easier to see what you have got and find all the little things that normally hide at the bottom of the drawers. The veg and fruit drawers really are big and keep your verg very fresh, in our old fridge opened salad would go off in a couple of days now it keeps for a week.

+ I can't find anything bad about the fridge/freezer. It is excellent value for money and I am very pleased with it. I didn't want a plumbed in appliance, and I find that there is much more room in this one because there is no drinks dispenser etc.

- I can't see any bad points other than it is very bulky, but every American fridge/freezer is. Just make sure that you have the floor space to house it and open and close doors.

+ Loads of storage, including shelves in the doors.
No water or ice dispenser, so easy to install, clean and maintain.
The freezer is still a good size. Often freezer space is compromised with fridge/freezers.
Food stays noticeably fresher when food has airspace around it, rather than being crammed in a small fridge.

- One of the wider shelves on the fridge door is wide enough to hold bottles of pop/wine, but is not tall enough unless the top cheese shelf is removed. However, there is another wide shelf which serves this purpose.
Ideally, we would have liked a fridge-freezer with equal capacity for both parts, but were unable to find one.

+ This fridge freezer looks nice it is a good colour and you dont see finger prints on it much, the fridge is really big and easy to view your contents. I liked it because it didnt have a water dispenser and there is plenty of space inside for bottles of water

- It would be ideal if the freezer was the same size as the fridge but all the american fridge freezers are the same fridge bigger than freezer.

+ I'd recommend this Fridge/Freezer to anyone. Not having the drinks and ice cube section means you get a lot more space in the freezer and as there's already two fitted ice cube trays in there, your not missing out on anything !!!.

+ Great storage. Built in ice cube trays. No baskets to get stuck in the freezer compartment (like normal freezers). A bell that rings (like a little doorbell) when you leave the door open longer than a minute or 2. The fridge side has one extra shelf than all the comparable models i looked at which is very useful.

- It is quite deep, so it may well stick out beyond your kitchen units a fair bit, so be careful where you position it in your kitchen to avoid it dominating the room!

+ It is a stylish design with strong clean lines. The fridge has good capacity; I haven't managed to overfill it or loose anything in it yet.

- I would prefer more drawers in the freezer section rather than shelves. Although shelves make it easy to see what is on them I have had a couple of near misses with frozen missiles falling out.

+ Brilliant fridge, affordable compared to other models, very quiet and massive capacity!

- None really, only thing that would be handy is a quick freeze button.

+ +Loads of room in fridge and freezer units, easy to operate temperature controls, light in freezer when door open, attractive design. Dedicated ice trays provide loads of ice easily so am glad I didn't pay more for the model with the chilled water/ice dispenser as you lose a lot of the freezer's capacity.

- Could do with wider door shelves in fridge to accomodate 2 litre drinks bottles. Freezer could do with more shelving to avoid having to stack foods on top of each other. Bottom draw of freezer is a little tricky to open when it is full. As far as I am concerned these are minor points as the product is excellent overall and very reasonably priced compared to others on the market.

- A horizontal wine storage rack would have been useful as the fridge door storage space could be spaced out better.

Ice cube trays under shelves again space saver. Makes little tune when door is left open - Magic for the kids!
Some of the other models have boxes inside the freezer section which controls the unit and takes away your freezer space - this model doesn't have this so it's all storage space!! I managed to get everything from my double chest freezer into this! I'm well impressed!

- This is a little petty - The footer of the fridge needed to be screwed on.
Also remember the packaging takes additional space, remember this when measuring your doorway entry path.
