I'm using this cable for the rear speakers in a 5..1 set up (Chord Odyesey for the others).
Unfortunately I can't compare this cable to any previous one, as set up is new.
i can say that the whole set up sounds fantastic to everyone that has watched movies with it.

Speakers - Q Acoustics 2000 Series - Bad points:
- Although flexible, the diameter of the Carnival Silver Screen is quite large (10mm) & may be difficult to hide in some layouts.

Chord Carnival Silver Screen is an affordable screened speaker cable, one of our most popular speaker cables, supplied off the reel per metre, complete with Chord’s 10 year warranty and free UK delivery. This cable has been designed to dramatically improve system performance, featuring an OFC copper cable, twisted pair construction, with a silver shield over the PVC jacket which is then covered with a translucent cover. This shielding is a feature from Chord’s more expensive Signature and Epic cables and lowers the noise resulting in a much clearer sound.
