Score 10.0/10+ I like this printer very much it is very easy to use.The fact that I can fax straight to my pc is excellent as it saves on ink and paper, The printing is very fast and clear. I cannot fault it's performance.
- Maybe the fact that envelopes have to be printed at the rear tray and it does not take XD cards is a bit tiresome but hey ho, and it is a little on the large side.I think that is a small price to pay for such an excellent machine.

Score 9.0/10+ A fast printer, with the added benefits of a scanner, fax and network connectivity. Has a rear and a front paper tray so can carry two different sized paper at the same time. Excellent Printer.
- Uses PGI-5 for black and PGI-8 for colours, so can't buy a multipack containing both black and colours.

Purchased 13.05.2008. Problems since installation. Fax cuts in when answering phone.
Conon engineer promptly attended & reprogrammed unit. Inherent fault. Problem persisted. Engineer called several times. Verdict NO FAULT. BT came to check line, considers No Line Fault.
Found out from one of my Suppliers that all there home based staff were given a Canon MX780 & ALL experienced the same problem

- As with many other major brands you come unstuck trying to use cheaper non-branded ink - It's possible to get around but a pain.
