- Good points:
- I use this extender with the Canon f4 L 300 mm prime. There is very little loss of quality in the picture. It means I now have a 600 mm lens, which is great for bird photgraphy.
- Bad points:
- This extender is not suitable for all lens. Many lens that it fits show a dramatic loss of quality. Do your homework before buying this extender. Canon produce a book showing graphs and the impact the 1.4 x and the 2 x extenders have on different lens.
