Good points:: If you are a Canon user the interface is very intuative. Even if are not the camera is very easy to use with a fully automatic mode. Short of buying a pro camera this will do anything that a competant amateur would want.
18mega pixel a good processor and its fast.
The hand book providee is not that bad either. Bundled software is pretty good as well no real need for Photoshop not unless you are looking to do something special.
Overall for the price paid its brilliant and a good move up from the 1100D.

SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder.
