+ very goog image quality, a lot of nice features and options, face detection and stabilisator, quick, reactive, and so elegant !

- no detailed user manual, the build material keeps marks and digit prints so it looks a bit dirty after an intensive use.

+ Very light and sleek. The auto options are enough for most settings.

- The jog dial is a bit fiddly because it's designed to be flush with the surface.
The flash sometimes needs to be turned off as the photos become overexposed!

+ This product produces fantastic pictures, very saturated, well exposed and pin sharp. The build quality is excellent and it feels really solid in the hand. The 3" screen is superb and you can adjust the brightness with one button press which helps you see the screen even on bright days. It's excellent if you just want to point and shoot.

- Some people might find this a bit heavier than most other cameras in it's class. There are no manual settings to speak of which might hamper in tricky situations. Some of the buttons can be a bit fiddly and some of the options, like deleting photos, aren't very intuitive.

There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder. SLR cameras have detachable lenses offering greater flexibility if you wish to take a variety of different photographs. Compact cameras have a built in lens and an ‘above lens’ viewfinder which is less accurate but they are often cheaper, more sleekly designed and easier to carry anywhere with you to capture that moment perfectly without having to fiddle with complex settings or a bag full of lenses.
