+ great pictures

- none really, maybe you dont have full control over the settings.

+ Great build, solid metal and great design. Viewfinder is a plus. Great detail, very quick and good battery life.

- Lack of manual options, needs tweaking with indoor/night shots. Scene settings take care of these problems.

+ Excellent all round small camera. Quite happy to use it in place of my Canon EOS 400D if I am going to have to carry it around all day. The picture quality is excellent and the ease of use is first class.

- The cover for the battery/memory card seems a bit plasticky. It may break in times to come. However, it does the job.

- a proper manual mode would be nice. Otherwise no bad points at all. Tried others, ie, pentax- was hard to use, had poorer image, nikon not so easy to use.

- Swithching settings can take too long to work out and not that easy to remember.Ptint and paint effect on back rubbing off with less than 6 months use

+ I love it. It is small enough to take in pocket or handbag Took work Christmas party pics with it on night settings came out excellent everybody wanted a set of the pics. Like the viewfinder as well as screen.
Recommended it to family and friends and five of them have purchased same model.
Easy to download pictures from to computer. With it's many settings found it very versatile and don't have to be an expert photographer to get good results.

- Wish it had av and manual settings so I could use it for digiscoping as I would love to try that. My family and I all agree that it would be nice to have a hard copy manual to take out with us instead of it being on disk other than this no bad points

+ Excellent picture quality still and video with the advantage of dual focusing. Competitive price, and as it's my first digital camera a huge leap from my old Canon Sureshot 1980 vintage

- Would have liked a more comprehensive manual without going online to read it.
