its gas and it works

design is very bad. Cleaning is not easy in the oven. The face plate where the buttons and knobs reside is particually badly design, any spills down it are not cleanable unless a screwdriver and 3 screws are involved.

This was a replacement of the same model bought 12 years previously so obviously I was/am very pleased with it. In fact in many respects the modifications are better(lid, timer use, doors)

My only complaint is that I preferred the racks on the hob to be divided into 4 rather than this model where there are only 2

Grills slightly unevenly.
Cooker light does not need to be on all the time the oven is on, and needs to be able to be switched on when oven not in use, for cleaning etc.

Small rings too small for some pots eg small size espresso maker which worked perfectly on old oven can't be used now at all. Large rings don't seem as powerful as old cooker - takes longer to boil pan even when on full power.

Good performance cooker, easy to use. Light in main oven good idea, can see how things are cooking without opening the oven door. The silver colour better than stainless steal as it does not show finger marks.

The top oven has taken a bit of getting used to as the Gas Mark rating is not accurate - need to add a notch and 5 minutes extra e.g. Mark 6 instead of 5 + 5 Minutes cooking time.

It has all the features I want, it looks attractive in my kitchen and I enjoy having the timer, which I didn't have on my old cooker.

Top oven doesn't seem to reach correct temperature. No way of telling for sure but it takes longer to cook things than the main oven. It's a bit tricky storing the grill pan with its handle on and who wants to have to remove the handle after every use? The oven shelf design is very nice but I can't use my adjustable extra shelf in it! Sounds like a lot of complaints but overall I'm thrilled to bits with my purchase.

The main oven seems to heat up really quickly and I like the fact that it has a double oven - never had that before and it is very useful.
I also love the Slow Setting on the oven which I use a lot - great to put a casserole in when working and it is cooked when you get home.

Not really a bad point but it is strange that when the main oven is on the light is permanently on and there seems to be no way of switching it off.

When not in use, I don't like the fact that I can't close the top oven without tilting the grill pan as the handle won't go in unless I do.
I don't like the removable shield at the back of the shelf in the grill as I will proabably forget to remove/replace it.
