Good points:: Looks good in the utility room, isn't too noisy and dries the clothes efficiently. There is a good range of drying cycles to choose from. My utility room is small but I haven't noticed any problem with steam - I think some condensing dryers steam up the room. Best of all, this dryer is very easy to use. I worked out everything except how to empty the water, before reading the instruction book. I would buy the same one again.
Bad points:: I would prefer the water chamber to be on the top of the dryer, rather than underneath. Having said that, it is very easy to empty (once you've worked out where it is). At first I thought I had emptied the water and couldn't understand why the 'full' light kept flashing, then I realised the water chamber was actually below the shelf I had been taking out - duuh!

Good points:: Iv never had a tumble dryer before but I think that this one is so simple to use and being a condensor dryer you can just plug it in and use it straight away! All that you have to do is turn a knob to the required setting and push the start button! Simple!
Bad points:: The only bad point for me could be that my 20 month old loves to turn the knob and turn it off when its on. But we've solved that problem now by keeping the door to the utility shut.

Good points:: the refresh cycle, anti crease remains running until door is opened.
Bad points:: program dail is difficult to see what cycle it's lined up with unless using auto settings. Isan utter proformance to get the bottom front panel on and off to empty the water canister that effectivly sits in the floor, very difficult to get to and frequently slopps water on the floor

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
