+ it prints

- it makes to much noise. i cant get the fax machine to work on my phone line. i dont seem to have control of tools. i put a new cartrage pack in and to way to clean, realine, etc. for several days it didnt work properly, as not all the color streams were working. i think something was plugged. after a day or so it began working correctly. it makes lots of noise. like its running through its options, clearing its memory or something. very distracting.

+ Small compact, super fast and easy to set up. Lots of options for different paper, envelopes etc. and wireless printing is a dream for several users. Excellent software drivers and http-login print setup options. When in standby is completey silent... sometimes forget to switch it off!

- Plastic components feel very flimsy - unlike the HL-760 which I bough this to replace. Paper draws and flaps feel like they could easily break, although most budget printers are like this these days. Two sided printing tends to jam using unless you open the back exit tray.

+ Quick, quiet and efficient. So far no problems with paper feed and movement.
Very full manual, which, though read through soon after delivery has only had to be consulted once since.

- None found so far. Long may it continue thus.

+ Good wireless connection around the house. I am only an occasional user. There is not enough usage to form a strong opinion. It works fine for documents. I will stick with ink-jet printer for graphics/photos.

- Noisy fan when left in standby
