- because we are a charity we need a lot of printing,we copy hundreds of leaflets and also colouring pages ,the children have no idea what a coluring book is. also we do vancards to learn the alphabet and learn their tables which we laminate and display on the walls of the schools in The Gambia.

- Good points:
- The price is low and that drew me to this printer. The quality and speed are great. The size is perfect for me as I have it in a cupboard under my desk. Nice little unit, problem with it though is you must replace the print cylinder after 10,000 papers or less. This was never indicated before I bought it.
- Bad points:

You of course must replace the print cartridge as normal with most printers BUT you also must replace the print cylinder with this model! I called Brother UK and they indicated that a replacement print cylinder would cost almost the cost of the printer. The print cylinder is only good for around 10,000 prints or 1 year. So I expect the unit to give me an alert in 12 months to replace the print cylinder and then lock me out if I don't.
I decided to keep this unit and test it for one year. If your eco minded like I am, I hate the idea that it is cheaper to trash this unit in 1 year and buy a new one for the price of the print cylinder. I did not see any reference to a two part replacement system before I bought this product. I think this should be publicised better, hence this review. Hope this helps others to make an informed decision.

Good print speed. Large paper store - 150 sheets.
Economical consumables. Separate toner & drum.
Very good value foe money. - Bad points:
- Would have liked a built in scanner, but that is getting a bit greedy !!
