I have had (and been using) this kettle for 7 months now and it still works great!
It boils relatively fast (not 10 years like other kettles seem to take.
The lid (when open) stays up, making it easy to rinse out.
The kettle is made of good materials so, unlike my last kettle, the spout isn't disintegrating.
.... And the lightbulb still works (unlike my last kettle, where it konked out early on).
- Bad points:
-
The 'on' switch has rarely (once or twice) got slightly stuck, leaving it boiling continuously until you either lift the kettle, or just manually, and easily, lift the switch to turn it off. Not much of a problem (unless you normally abandon your kettle while it's on and go out to the shops for some unknown reason) but worth mentioning it's one and only fault... well, other than it has no other function than 'boil'... not that you need any other functions that is...

- An overall excellent kettle in appearance and performance, it's light and pours well, boils quickly and love the blue light feature when it's switched on and switches off when boiling temperature is reached.

- Good points:
- Looks great, boils fast.
- Bad points:
- Water tastes of plastic if it's left in there for a while. Need to empty it and always use fresh - which you should do with all kettles, but sometime you forget.

- Good points:
- Excellent all around
- Bad points:
- If de-scaled too often it begins to leak - and that's the end - you'll need a new one.
