- Good points:
- Terrific room-filling sounds, with real bass, from a modest unobtrusive package. Ideal for people like us who don't like technology dominating the home. My disabled wife also loves the simple easy button switching on the top of the unit. Cheaper, different and reportedly superior to very similar Bose. It sounds so good I bought a second one for another room. NB This is written by an ex-hi-fi fan and classical music lover who has previously owned Rogers, Quad, Thorens, A&R Cambridge, Sugden, Castle Acoustics, etc, etc, etc
- Bad points:
- Doesn't take kindly to stuck-on DIY CD labels. Has twice refused to eject a normal CD without full power-down to reset the unit. Can't adjust display LEDs much. You can only have too bright or too dim with nothing in-between. No mono switch (to reduce noise with poor stereo FM reception).
