Bosch WAE 2416 reviews: Front Loading loading, 6kg capacity washing machine

+ Everything! I decided to buy a Bosch washing machine after lots of research - instead of my usual poorer quality brand washer-dryer, and it is everything i expected. The 6kg drum makes a big difference when you've got a family.

- Not a bad point but it would be nice if the programme dial pushed in so that my boys couldn't keep changing the wash programme

- drawer is a bit flimsy
pre wash rinses the clothes, which to me is a waste of water when you are going to wash them again.

+ The machine is easy to use and fairly quiet when spinning. The silver colour looks modern and smart.

- Haven't discovered anything bad about this product yet!

- Not just Bosch but every manufacturer of dryers, washers and dishwashers . I wish manufacturers didn't feel they had to make machines that bleep all night long. Bleeping once when finished is good enough.

+ It has plenty of wash loads options which are not complicated to use. It is extremely quiet and and very efficient. A very good purchase :)

+ I have had a Bosch machine previously and was very impressed with its reliability (I had it for 12 years). So far, I am equally pleased with my new machine.

- The bleeping noise that the machine makes at the end of the wash. It would be OK if the machine only bleeped once, but it keeps on doing it until you turn the appliance off.

+ Simple to use, quiet and reliable.

- Programme selection could have done with a quick wash option. Some have complained about the end of cycle warning beep. But it is not that loud and does cut out after a short time. Does not bother me.

- Would be even more economical if it had a half load option for smaller washes.

+ It's quiet; lets you know when the cycle has finished by bleeping (though this can be annoying at times); wide door entrance; nice aesthetic finish; clothes have come out clean. I haven't used many of the wash programs yet so cannot give a full review of all it's features. A good basic model worth the money.

- During a cycle; buttons can be accidentally pressed if leaning over the washing machine to get to an overhead cupboard, for example, altering the wash program; I've noticed some residual water in the door seal and guey fabric conditioner remains; clothes do not have the fresh smell of fabric conditioner when they come out like I'm used to; instruction manual not the best in the world - I have seen better.

- only one bad point, very small, it beeps when the cycle has finished which is a bit annoying if your tied up with something else at the time.

+ everything about this machine is excellent,i read others comments before buying and 99% of them also agree with me.The only bad thing they said was the beeping after the cycle has finished,this however does not bother me at all its not a loud beeping and not annoying in any way.

- nothing was mentioned in regards to the manufacturers warrenty. Thats the only negative point that I have.

- I can't think of any bad points apart from the fact it was quite pricey.

- Can only turn it down to 30 degrees, beeps at the end and can easily make the mistake of pressing the start button again when it's finished as my kids do when they think they are turning off the alarm.
