- Modern cutlery is challenging when it comes to loading the dishwasher. I don't know how you get around this. You're the experts, but it seems as if a lot of space is wasted.

+ Short wash cycle is adequate for most washes.

- The outer casing is not so robust looking and streamlined as our previous Bosch slimline model which was about 12 years old. All the cycles, other than the quick wash, are very long.

+ No real problems at all....Does everthing it is meant to. Quick wash handy for small loads.

- cutlery holder takes some getting used to. Designed for cutlery with small ends.

+ washes well in longer cycles, relatively quiet, reasonably sturdy although door shutting is not as reassuring as it should be. useful sliding cutlery tray and knife tray. overall a fairly well-made and thoughtfully designed product. The pre-rinse is a good feature.

- Too big a gap between programmes, the quick cycle is very quick (less than half an hour) but does not fully dissolve tablets. The other cycles take far too long - over two hours for the next quickest cycle is a ridiculously long time. There should be an intermediate cycle of about an hour max between them. I am not happy that this was not evident in the advert when I purchased the product. The feed and drain leads which came with thte machine are ridiculously short and I had to purchase longer ones.

+ Quiet efficient machine. Cutlery basket can be slid along or removed to maximise space. Top basket and spray head can be removed to allow for large pans/ovenware.

- Could do with an intermediate cycle as lightly soiled is 30 mins and next option is 150 min (i.e 2 and a half hours ).

+ I know it is reliable, quiet and economica;

- The drying is poor - I use 3 in 1 tablets. The advise is to use more rinse aid - why? Why can't it perform adequately on top end standard products

+ its small and queit with the "Bosch" reputation. just rightfor the 2 of us.

- quite difficult to load the extra plastic rack is in the way of cups.the cutlary box is not easy to place either. the old style box was much better.

- Cutlery tray too small. Upper shelf has unhelpful shape for cups/mugs.

+ Excellent finish as with all Bosch products. Easy to plumb in to existing in and out pipework.
The cutlery holder can be placed in several positions which helps with loading. Quiet.

- We chose this product because our last dishwasher (two or three models previous to this) lasted 13 years and was superb. The new model has ridiculously long program times, and if you use the 30 min 'quick' wash the powder/tablet does not disolve. The slots for plates are angled in two different directions, causing some waste of space on the lower rack. The door requires brute strength to open and makes a disconcerting 'clunk' when you close it. I am disappointed as I would have expected improvement over time, not the opposite.
