- like all modern washers this takes a long time 2 plus hours seems a lot to me. not sure all the racking is as convenient as the old one.

+ The machine is very quiet, which is fantastic as I use the delay switch to run the machine after midnight due to the length of the cycles and it is more economical. The cleaning of dishes is great as is the drying on the regular wash. I believe this machine does offer good value for money.

- The lack of choice in cycles and the length of the cycles are the main downsides to this machine these are overcome by the use of the delay option.

+ Cleans very well, and is quiet. Only had it a month, and my old machine deteriorated over time, so I feel its rather early to say unequivocally that it is marvellous and good value for money, but no problems so far.

When loading top tray in high position you cannot fully lift up grey cutlery tray to aid filling or emptuing the top basket area
when loading the bottom basket dinner plates have to do in the front section which makes the basket over balance when pulled out if nothing is in the back section.My previous Bosch took large plates in the rear section which was much better for filling and more stable when baskrt pulled out

- Somwhat noisy. Layout of shelves/baskets poor : No hanging shelf for wine glasses on top shelf and plastic shelf on LH side restricts access to lower area. Lower shelf has main plate rack running Left to right and not front to back which means that plates roll out if you smartly close basket. Cutlery
basket placed , as it is in middle front gets in the way of large objects needing cleaning, ; far better at one of the front corners, basket layout far to restrictive the holes are far to small for much of my cutlery. A Good machine spoilt by lack of attention to detail,

+ Cleaning seems v. good. Quiet as well. Design has hardly altered from our first Bosch dishwasher which is good - it lasted 10 years.

- They've changed the baskets & made them less flexible to use, and harder to load - but not dramatically so. Still a v. good product

+ Easy to install and easy to use. no complicated programs, just one simple dial. Cleaning is generally good. Overall, definitely very pleased with the dishwasher and would recommend for a more affordable option to the Miele rivals.

- It does seem to struggle slightly with more soiled items. Cycle times seem quite long, although never having owned a dishwasher before, have little to compare it to.

+ Was a Which? best buy which counts for a lot. Brand reliability & cleaning excellent.

- Compared with my last Bosch dishwasher the door is not counuter-balanced enough, so is easy to let drop down; some skimping on features - e.g. no proper indicator for filling with rinse-aid. Possibly could do with an extra intermediate wash cycle.

+ I have really enjoyed my new dishwasher, it has a really useful quick wash with only takes 30 minutes, and so far all items have been spotless, it has loads of space, the economy wash takes longer and has excellent results. I like the display which tells me how long the wash will take and when our water went off unexpectidly last night, the machine stopped it self with no problems to sort out. I would say this machine is excellent value for money.

- Top rack a bit annoying when trying to fit cups in, though has a handy bit right at the top for large knives.
It's supposed to fit 12 place settings, but I think that would be very squashed.

+ Well designed full size dish washer which works well, looks good in fitted kitchen and is not too noisy. Never had dishwasher before so cannot compare. Which report gave a similar model a best buy which prompted my choice.

- Water inlet hose not long enough for me personally (short by 15cm). I assume this would be same for any dishwasher?

+ Brilliant at cleaning the dishes - they emerge sparkling.... Simple to load and to use. Essential if you and your wife work full-time.

- Most main wash programmes last more than 1 hour 30 mins - not great if you aspire to be eco friendly. Otherwise it's an excellent machine.

+ It is very simple to select the wash cycle and get it going, this is partly to the fact that there aren't many programs to chose from, but I tended to only use only the one on my old dishwasher anyways so that doesn't really bother me. We've only used the Eco program and this has cleaned everything really well, so not bothered with any of the other settings. This dishwasher is much quieter than the last one and I am really happy with it - hope this last longer than any of our old ones, which were a bit cheaper, but I guess you get what you pay for.

- They are not bad points, just slight moans really......the top rack is quite tricky to load as there are stands for bowls - but they don't quite fit ours - so you have to load round them. I don't seem to get as much in as I used to or maybe I just need to learn a better way of loading it? The wash cycle seems to take longer than any of my old dishwashers, that might just be because you get a count down so know how long its going to be, but if it gets the job done (as it seems to be doing) then I really don't care as I haven't had to wash or dry anything!!

+ Looks great, very quiet, removed all the tea stains from our mugs after 2 wash cycles, and gets things very clean on the eco cycle which we run every couple of days.

- Instruction manual isn't the easiest to read. It takes some getting used to the loading of the dishwasher if you don't have standard small bowls etc, we use soup bowls and rice bowls so you can't stack too many of those in.

+ Good price to start with, and with all things you do get what you pay for. Eco setting is handy, but the 30 minute quick wash is superb. Has a 'cake tray' facility whereby you can remove the top shelf and add an attachment to the internal water outlet for washing all those 'big' items. Good to have a grey plastic interior instead of white... there's less chance of that orange 'baked bean' staining having effect.

- In comparison with other dishwashers the door weighting and counterbalance doesn't feel as solid and the top and the upper tray is a bit fiddly, but acceptable. Should note that if the top shelf is at it's lowest setting, you cannot fit standard sized plates on the bottom shelf as the rotor will strike them when revolving. The washer came with a few erroneous plastic bits that needed attaching, and some extremely obsure international picture-style instructions that were VERY difficult to work out. Beware.. you do have to unscrew and take the lid off the washer to insert one piece... DON'T plumb it in and put it under the counter first as I did.. as you'll have to drag it out from under the counter to get the top off!!!

+ It cleans really well, it's quiet, it's easy to get larger dishes in without the rotor arms hitting the top (a problem with our last model). It has all the cycles any normal person could need.

- Cycle length is quite long. OTOH you do have a Quick cycle, which is very short - just don't use it for heavily soiled items.

- Top flat tray for cooking utensils is still wet and drips after the short cycle. Would like a cycle between the quick and full cycles

+ I'm really pleased with the quality of cleaning, which is much better than my old machine. I also like the fact that the machine has short and eco cycles as well as the standard one. I find that the short cycle, which only takes about 30 minutes, gives as good a clean as the others, proving convenient and eco-friendly at the same time.

- The interior design is poor. The higher setting for the top basket is too high to take tall wine glasses or even some larger mugs but, if I lower the top basket, I can't fit my dinner plates in - yet they are standard sized dinner plates and smaller than many that on the market. In addition, there are far too many slots for plates and not enough for mugs, bowls and saucepans and, unlike the baskets provided with my old machine, the Bosch baskets are very inflexible: you can't, for example, remove some of the sections for plates in order to provide a flat area for saucepans or mugs. I've looked everywhere, but Bosch don't seem to offer alternative full size baskets in their accessories range. This is a real disadvantage.

+ I've only had this product for a few weeks but so far I find it to be the usual high standard you expect from Bosch. The machine is spacious and the baskets are very sturdy. I've always just used the quick cycle as I've found it to have excellent results in only 30 mins. I was slightly nervous because of the low price but so far have been pleasantly surprised with this model. The screen shows how many minutes are left of the cycle which is a handy feature. It's also very quiet which is good. All in all I would say excellent value for money.

- the compartment where the soap goes could do with being located somewhere else as when plates are stacking in there first, anything on them drops into the compartment. The top rack is a little akward to load.

+ i found this machine very quiet and easy to operate. very roomy interior, good hieght diference between top basket and lower one. i found the utensil tray on the top basket very handy

- didnt like the layout of the lower basket utensil basket ought to have been to one side not in the middle, also the prongs that hold the plates are a bit to close pity i could not have had a lay flat option as i had in my previos machine

+ The cleaning is so good I find I can just use the quick wash, but I do still rinse the dishes before I put them in, a habit aquired with my old dishwasher! The timer display is also very useful, I can plan when I need clean dishes. It is also very quiet, it even SOUNDS efficient!

- The designers seem to assume that we all use cups, not mugs, so the two tier stacking on the right of the upper rack is rather limiting, but I use the top rack to put cooking utensils on. Also, the knife rack on the left makes loading under it a bit fiddly, but heyho, we can't have everything, and overall I love it!!

+ Excellent cleaning, pretty good drying. Excellent build quality. Easy installation. Quiet, simple to operate. The timer delay is an especially good feature allowing us to make use of cheap electricity on the Economy 10 tariff. I am very satisfied with this product.

- Loading mugs under the utensils rack is a bit fiddly - but you can always take the utensils rack out. A lot of the slots in the cutlery basket are too small to get our knife-handles in. The economy programme takes a long time to complete.

+ Very quiet, cleans really well. Three programmes are really enough. Half load option great! Much better than my last dishwasher (BEKO). Like the timer on the front as I know how long is left in a wash cyle.
ECO friendly. Uses less water than what would be used in a washing bowl. Brilliant!
Despite comments in bad points I would still definately recommend this dishwasher.

- Disappointed with the top rack. It does not hold long stem glasses at all. Requires alot of jigging things around, I`ve had it just over a month now and I am just getting used to the best way of loading it. Very disappointing. Not really sure about the extra cutlery racks, but these can be taken out, as I have done.
Wash cyles vary from 151 minutes to 18 mins!!!!! There is no in between.
Didn`t get a salt funnel to help put salt in the salt dispenser. Shame as they are really useful.
