- Good points:
- An exceptional machine - very quite and produces great cleaning results. Comprehensive programming options allows the user to choose from very quick wash cycles to money saving, longer cycles. Additional features like 'time left' display and self cleaning powder drawer demonstrate the thought that has been put into the design of this machine.
- Bad points:
- None as far as I am concerned.

Excellent wash results.8kg drum.Numerous programs.1600 rpm.,
slower speeds can be overridden,on some of the wash programs, during a cycle.Nice clear design/functions on LED's,dial & buttons.Very quiet (except for drain pump which is a bit more vocal). - Bad points:

Out of balance sensors work o.k.,but are not perfect.Large 8kg drum does not particularly like small loads or when you only have a few large/kingsize bed sheets/duvets to wash as the washing can get positioned unevenly. The drum sometimes knocks as it builds up speed at around 600 rpm,(I would imagine most purchasers would ignore it but it niggles me).Occasionlly I have stopped the spin and repositioned the washing by pulling it around in the drum, but this is inconvenient as I am not confident to go out and leave it without it being monitored.Only time will tell if the extra vibration damages modern electronic switching.?One more grip regarding design. The small clearance between the underside of the machine and the floor makes it difficult to get a normal size spanner on the adjustable feet.I had to slightly jack up each side in turn in order to level the appliance.
Considering I bought the top of the range machine I think Bosch could have supplied a special thin spanner for the task.In order to minimise this issue of balance I strongly advise the use of a spirit level and make sure the locking nuts are done up tight against the underside of the machine.

- Good points:
- This is the best washing machine I've owned in 26 years. It is really quiet, the door unlocks in an instant to add forgotten items and at the end of the wash, it has a touch control lock to prevent settings from being changed accidently during the wash and a beeper to let you know the wash is done. Each wash shows on the digital display how long it will take to complete the chosen standard cycle but you also then have a choice, if you wish, of using the speed button which makes the machine work harder but gives you the equivelant wash quicker or the eco button which uses less energy and takes a bit longer. A truly fab machine which is worth every penny. It really is quiet too, we can chat beside it whether washing or spinning with no increase in voice level, something I definately couldn't have done with previous machines.
