Bosch HBN131260 Electric Single Oven Reviews

+ This is much quieter than my previous oven and has given good results. The fan/grill combination cooks really well for roasts, quicker than I'm used to, with even browning. The shelf supports are removable so the side walls, which do not have stay clean liners, can easily be wiped down. The top and back are self cleaning and I've bought 'Magic Liner' for the floor so it's all looking good! It's a basic function good quality oven at a fantastic price.

+ Stylish, very fast heating & cooking, good quality.

- The self-cleaning facility causes a bit of smoke (but it works!).

+ This is a great oven, cooks beautifully, simple to use and easy to clean.
The child lock works well (as tested by my 2 year old son) and the countdown timer is really useful, counting down second by second rather than just bleeping after the allotted time.
I really have no complaints about it.

+ I LIKE THE FACT YOU CAN REMOVE THE SHELF RUNNERS FOR EASY CLEANING.
THE GRILL IS GREAT AS IT HAS A LARGE SURFACE AREA.

- WOULD BE GOOD FOR A HANDLE TO BE SUPPLIED FOR THE GRILL. i DIDNT LIKE THE FACT THE TIMER STAYS ON WHILE IT COUNTS DOWN, WOULD PREFERE TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE TIME ON THE CLOCK AND PUSH THE BUTTON FOR COUNTDOWN REMINDER. BOTH THESE COMMENTS ARE PERSONAL PREFERENCE ONLY.

+ Very easy to use. Loved the minute minder! Cooks evenly and kitchen cooler that with previous oven. Might even learn to cook now, LOL.

- No cook book so not easy to convert favourite recipes. Grill pan high in oven and difficult to keep an eye on cooking.

+ Full sized grill, sturdy design, looks good, has proper metal runners for shelves and grill pan (some just have grooves in the lining)

- Would have preferred display to be green or blue rather than red. It's a bit bright! Programming auto switch on is as easy as others I have used. but rarely make use of this. Grill temperature control takes a bit of getting used to but cooks great. These are only very minor comments as overall this is a really good purchase.

+ Excellent Build Quality, and in operation very quite, You hardly no the fan is running even when standing next to it.

+ Great no nonsense Bosch quality. Easy to use, quiet operation even with the fan. The grill is full size, variable temp and lightning fast. I've used the oven a lot since it was fitted and although I've gone from gas to electric fan cooking, I'm getting used to it fast and loving it. Quick to heat up, good selection of shelf positions, two shelves plus the grill tray which can be used as an extra shelf or roasting tin.The black finish is easy to clean and good to look at. I checked the Reevoo ratings for thgis oven before buying and have not been disappointed.

+ Despite it being new at Christmas and people say you have to get used to the oven, I found it very easy, efficient and quiet.
