+ That phone is just great. I receive my emails instantly, able to send and receive them any time i want. No problem with coverage.
I have applications such as google maps, facebook, twitterverry, windows live which all work great. And you can purchase anything you want from Blackberry App world too. I also love the keyboard, i am used to having to press one key for 3/4 letters and now my texts are more faster! Keyboard no different to a laptop!!! The camera on the phone is amazing. great shots bother inside and just WOW with outside pics! Video is real good quality aswell. The internet works well on mine too. Youtube stream is smooth and clear, very much the high quality they advertised it would be. I would purchase Blackberry 8900, it's a gem

- Battery life could be better and the interchangeable travel batteries are not efficient.

+ It's ease of use, got everything you really need.

- Maybe the battery life but it reall depends how many apps you're running really. If it had a better camera then again you don't buy a BlackBerry for it's camera

+ If you want a Blackberry for personal use then this is a great phone. Nice keyboard, improved trackball (better than the original curve and the bold) nice size handset.

- No 3G is an issue if you want to use your handset for things like google maps and the internet. Also if an email includes photos or is in html then because there is no 3G it takes an age to download.

Expert reviews for BlackBerry 8900 Curve

PC Advisor expert review - by Rosemary Haworth

RIM (BlackBerry) came out with some brand-new BlackBerry handset designs last year that diverted attention from what it does best: make solid business smartphones for businesspeople. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 returns to the original remit, having picked up a few neat tricks along the way.Unlike the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm handset, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 comes with a real qwerty keypad with raised keys and lends itself to two-handed text entry. Navigation is via a globular orb betwixt keypad and screen but, unlike previous models, it is grey rather than white and doesn't glow.Th…

Pocket Lint expert review

It is difficult to go anywhere without seeing a BlackBerry Curve, especially if you have the misfortune to commute to work everyday on public transport. The last generation, the 8300 series, was a venerable workhorse, simple in design and interface, but pretty reliable in delivering that connected experience that BlackBerry users crave...
