+ fits into a cupboard which means i could replace an integrated washing machine with a free standing one, costing much less and with a much faster spin speed.

on the fastest one clothes come out very dry and not badly creased

- had a problem once with the catch,it would not open after cycle finished on the hand wash
had to wash items again before it would open ,
but not had any more trouble with it since

+ Compared to my previous machine, this one is more compact in size so fits well in my extremely small kitchen. There is a handy 'time delay' option' which allows you to delay the start of your cycle so washing doesn't end up sitting wet in your machine. For a budget machine it looks quite good. Overall, it was a bargain price for quite a good product.

- A normal 40 degree wash takes an absolute age to complete. There is a 'quick wash' option which is indeed quick but as I am washing clothes including those of a 1yr old the 'quick wash' cycle' wouldn't remove stains as it's only really suitable for freshening items or things that are not soiled.

- machine takes conditioner in the main wash, have to wait until water for wash is complete and then add conditioner, ( not always possible if going out) so have to use another cycle on return, which uses lots of
electric.

+ Timer - very useful if on economy seven. I can set the machine up and go to bed; the washing is ready in the morning.

- Drum is a little small, I live on my own and one change of double bed linen and a few smalls does fill the machine.

+ Very quiet in use, seems economical with amount of water used

- Takes a very long time! May be because this is the first time we have ever had a cold-fill machine but it takes ages. No half-load programme, but the quick-wash seems to work for that. Unable to turn water temperature to cold (we were using the Ariel gel that can use cold water before buying this machine but temperature can't be controlled independently so no longer worth paying the extra for this gel)

- I bought this machine for my 84 father, who managed to choose a first programme which did not spin and return his laundry.By the time we got to him the next day he had managed to sort the problem.

+ I was looking for value for money with features that include water efficiency, shorter cycle times and spin efficiency which I have with this machine. well impressed so far

+ It is not too loud. We have a small house and the machine is in the utility room. I don't hear it going unless I am in the hall next door.

- Quite noisy, drum is a bit small. A great feature would be after the last spin the drum should move slowly for a minute to separate the clothes, because they're all stuck together.
