Beko WM5120 reviews: Front Loading loading, 5kg capacity washing machine

- its quite hard to just change a cycle,it does get slightly confusing because you dont know how long it is before the cycle finishes as the dial does'nt move round to indicate where the wash is at

- The noise when spinning is a little bit louder than I was expecting, but nothing to over the top.

+ great value for money, easy to use and does the job. Isn't any noisier than my last machine which was supposed to be the most silent on the market!

- Always have to repeat the spin cycle as the first spin leaves the stuff a bit soggy but it's almost dry when it comes out after a second spin. Cotton 30 wash takes forever! Over 2 hours so I just use the synthetics 30 for normal soil wash and it's just as good.

+ Easy to use, great simple washing machine. Very quiet on fast spin, and energy efficient.

- The only not so great point, is that I used to have a 1600 spin washer (which blew up), so this seems to take longer on cycles as it is a 1200 spin. However, that said, it was brilliant value for money, and is a great machine.

- DIALS ARE A LITTLE TOO EASY FOR MY 15 MONTHS OLD TO TURN ROUND.

+ Good size. Less deep than the average so perfect for a small kitchen. Great range of features for the price - especially the timer delay, hand and wool washes.

- Slightly cheap/plastic feel to the dials and drum door. Long cycle, even with quick wash feature.

+ Good price for a machine without a variety of programmes - intensive and short - energy efficient and very quiet.

- Unable to see exactly where you are in the cycle in case you want to skip steps and go straight to drain and spin - although it does feature and cancel and reselect function.

- Not really a bad point, but just can't see how far along the cycle is, but you just keep an eye on when you switched it on. Simples!

- A normal 40 degrees wash takes approx. 2 hours and the drum size isnt that big. There arent that many temperature settings...40 and 60 are the main ones Im able to use.
